- You need 8 oz of Package of crab meat coarsely chopped (real lump or imitation is fine).
- It's 2 cup of Seasoned bread crumbs (reserve about 1/2 cup).
- It's 1/4 cup of Minced onion.
- Prepare 1/2 of A Jalapeño minced or about 4 minced slices from a jar.
- It's 1/4 cup of Mayo.
- Prepare 1 of Old bay seasoning.
- You need 1 tbsp of Oil.

- Add crab meat, onions and jalapeños to a mixing bowl. Season with old bay seasoning to taste. Add 1 and 1/2 cups of bread crumbs to crabmeat mixture..
- Now Add mayo and slowly mix with a fork until mixture is thoroughly moist. If it seems a little too dry you can always add about a teaspoon or so. You want it to be a little firm so the crab cakes won't fall apart while frying. Form mixture into balls and let set in the refrigerator for at least 30 mins..
- Add the remaining bread crumbs to a plate. Set aside. Pour oil in skillet and set range eye to medium heat. Roll each crabmeat ball in the breadcrumbs. Make sure they're coated evenly..
